We study the basic biology of RNA, particularly how their sequences and structures affect cellular functions. We focus on understanding mechanisms, and how dysregulations lead to diseases.

Our Approach
We study RNA by integrating human genetics, molecular biology, and computational approaches. We focus on transcription and co-transcriptional steps that process RNA for their proper functions. We also study how dysregulation in these steps leads to neurological diseases such as ALS and Alzheimer's Disease.
